Surprise visit

For the last 5 months, I'd been planning a surprise visit to my boyfriend for his birthday. He lives in Madrid, and unfortunately, it's not easy to find a direct flight from Scotland. But I'm the luckiest girl and I have direct flights to Mallorca, where my family lives, so I took advantage of that and I stopped one day to see them.
It could not be otherwise and I visited the beach while I enjoyed the time with my father taking advantage of the only sunny day in the whole week.

Once in Madrid, I made the most of my time going to the hairdresser, which is so much cheaper and reliable that in the UK (even having a good level of English, was really hard to explain what I wanted and I didn't want to put my hair in risk). So the pink hair is over! I loved it, but the bleaching damages too much the hair.

As was my boyfriend's birthday, we had several celebration meals. The most interesting one was in a pirate boat! (Not a real one, there is no sea in Madrid, I wish) It was an enormous building decorated as a pirate ship and with really fresh food at a good price and live music.

The weather was not the best one, but even with that, I had the chance of seeing beautiful images of Madrid, one of my favourites cities in the whole world and where I'm actually thinking about going back. Because I don't choose cities, I choose people, and the people I most love live there.
