Surprise visit

For the last 5 months, I'd been planning a surprise visit to my boyfriend for his birthday. He lives in Madrid, and unfortunately, it's not easy to find a direct flight from Scotland. But I'm the luckiest girl and I have direct flights to Mallorca, where my family lives, so I took advantage of that and I stopped one day to see them.
It could not be otherwise and I visited the beach while I enjoyed the time with my father taking advantage of the only sunny day in the whole week.

Once in Madrid, I made the most of my time going to the hairdresser, which is so much cheaper and reliable that in the UK (even having a good level of English, was really hard to explain what I wanted and I didn't want to put my hair in risk). So the pink hair is over! I loved it, but the bleaching damages too much the hair.

As was my boyfriend's birthday, we had several celebration meals. The most interesting one was in a pirate boat! (Not a real one, there is no sea in Madrid, I wish) It was an enormous building decorated as a pirate ship and with really fresh food at a good price and live music.

The weather was not the best one, but even with that, I had the chance of seeing beautiful images of Madrid, one of my favourites cities in the whole world and where I'm actually thinking about going back. Because I don't choose cities, I choose people, and the people I most love live there.

How all began 2.0

I would like to start this new experience in my life looking back. The first thing I can say is WOW. I'm really proud of myself. Doesn't matter the difficulties I'm finding in my adventure, I always found and always will find a way to follow.

I was born in Mallorca, a Mediterranean and Spanish island, and I lived there all my childhood.

When I was 17 I had the opportunity of going one month to live in Florence, and of course, I did it!

Three months later, due to some personals problems, I decided to move to Madrid, where I had a great opportunity for my future career.

In Madrid, I spend two years studying IT while I was working in an amazing company. After that, I decided that I wanted to change my career and I started to study Audiovisual Communication in the university. At the end of the second year, I was really depressed, I was feeling my studies useless so I just changed my degree and I moved to Scotland, where I'm right now studying Events Management.

I'm happier than what I had never expected. I love my university: the teachers are awesome and I'm really happy with learning things I like and I finally feel that I found my path to my future. I can't be happier here, where every day I have the chance of meet new people from around the world.

With only 23 years I've lived in 3 countries, 4 cities and 7 houses. I know I'm still at the beginning of my journey but until now could not have been better. Regret of this great lifetime I'm having I know that home is where the heart is, and my heart will always be with my family.
